Collaboration between DEMAP and the Divisions for Information & Assessment and Epidemiology & Occupational Health within the Regional Health Department has enabled implementation of a number of projects that fovus on the geographical distribution of mortality in small areas. Join implementation of the AMCAC multi-centre project led to the Mortality Atlas for Capital Cities in Andalusia, as well as to a number of scientific papers addressing the link between deprivation and mortality in Andalusian capital cities. These and other outcomes from the collaboration are described in the publications and products links on this web site. Along with these research projects, DEMAP members and staff at the Regional Health Department have organised a vaiety of training activities targetinf professionals keen to understand and apply the most widely used techniques in Spatial Epidemiology and Statistics.
